It'll be very helpful especially for inexperienced players, as Hyper Dragon Ball Z is quite difficult.Īt the moment, Hyper Dragon Ball Z includes 12 playable characters. The creators took care of a detailed guide in which you'll find a full moveset with explanations - you can find it here or in the game folder. For those who enter in the brutal world of classic fighting games for the first time, we recommend to start from Training mode where you can safely practice the moves of all characters and prepare for the challenges that await you in the other game modes. Anyway, these modes can give a lot of fun especially when playing with friend.

The game also allows playing in two-person teams, however, the developers warn that the combat system was not designed for 2-versus-2 clashes.

You can play in the classic Arcade mode in which you have to beat randomly selected opponents or test your skills in the fight against your friend in VS mode. It can be changed in mugen. If you've played other Mugen games before, all of the game modes available here will look familiar. Ps: I set 1280*720 and windowed mode by default, but it's better when played in 1920*1080 and fullscreen. You'll find notes of what changed for each characters in their respective folders.īear in mind since it's ported to WideScreen, Gameplay changes a bit and has now to be thought that way. This version is the first release with some minor bugs, but nothing blocking. Please, get your hands on it and give me your feedbacks so I could improve it. Most important added features are Widescreen (obviously) but also Zoom in and out effects (thanks to 1.1b) and new select screen sorting, with Random option. See this WideScreen Edition as a proposal, a prototype, an attempt.

The Z2 Team has made an amazing job, and as a fan of their game, I tried to respect the original visual and game mechanics, although minor changed must have been made to fit the Widescreen conversion. And also it would be more attractive to most players' eyes. That it would match dragon ball x street fighter x kof feeling better. With nowaday's screens, I found it would be a plus if this game were displayed in widescreen, with no black borders. Although I tried to adapt it as faithfully as possible to the original, this modding is only meant to provide what the game could look like and how it'd feel if it were in 16:9. This version wasn't made to replace the 4:3 version.
